Default Z1 valvebody

Just wondering if anyone has it? Review or anything. Is it the same as the Stillen?

Its Level 10s work stillen sends the unit to Level 10 to get worked on, and im pretty sure Z1 does also. I just sent my unit out to SGP, because they rework the whole unit and change parts out unlike Level 10. Level 10s unit is good but from what i have heard SGPs unit is superior to it. I will let you all know once i get it back and test it out. If in fact SGPs valve body is better than Level 10s because i did have there upgrade first.

Thanks Glen

SGP's valve body works great . SHifts are hard and lighting fast . 1st to 2nd can be to hard at light throttle

Well if you want the most for your money i would go with SGPS. From what i was told Level 10s valve body upgrade will start to slowly slow down shift wise, because its a solid unit. To be perfectly honest with you all I know this is true. While having there unit over 8000 miles the shifting started to slow down for what reasons i dont know.

If I decided to go SGP I'd get the full tranny. $1k for a valvebody is ridiculous. It's 1/3 the price of a tranny. We'll see I might just get the full tranny setup if nobody can give me an answer or a decent price on a valvebody. Still waiting for a call back from Z1.

When you say Z1 valve body, are you referring to Z1 Motorsports or Z1 Performance? Whats the cost? If the cost is around $600ish, I would say just drop the extra $400-500 and do it right the first time and get the SGP one! If I had the cash, I would get the SGP valve body in a heartbeat.

No...Just the sgp valve body and EdgeRacing trq. converter....stall of around 2300 to 2500rpm . Unless you are going for huge power , I believe this is all will will need . I should be around 450 to 500whp on my car and Im not worried about the tranny holding the power .

Ya well its still factory whats the point of having another one. The valve body is a upgrade not a replacement. Im pretty sure autoparts does not sell upgraded transmissions for $800.

uhh, I would have another tranny I could take the parts off of and send out to have upgraded since nobody offer core programs. I would still be able to drive my car. When it's all done, make the swap and sell the stock one. Not a hard concept.

valve body is only available new from NISSAN when purchasing the auto trans... cant purchase seperately...

so a new valve body costs as much as a new trans...
