Thanks, but I do feel an inconsistency. Some days I hit and my down low is nothing special other days its better. Then again i just saw a thread about the CAI not working to well with the spacer and robbing low end with that combo so who knows. will resetting just as a precaution have an adverse reaction?

Or if you've driven with cheap/bad gas.

The ECU will adapt to that cheap gas detonation by preventing it from happening again. It records the engine conditions when knocks happens and if it happens often enough, it will start preventing it by retarding timing when similar conditions are about to be met. That's before the actual knocking. So it might not re-adjust to better fuel immediately.

I swear we have to have the most annoying computers of any sport car out there. So many f*ing variables to this damn thing.

The learning ECU thing sucks. It's such a pain in the *** to have to unplug the batery all the time to be able to use all of the power the car came with.

Some tests have shown that a properly "taught" ECU can make more power than a freshly resseted one. Or than a poorly trained one...
