Default 2 Wheel and 4 Wheel Brake Upgrades: Food for thought?

One thing is important. People often make the mistake of paying for big brake upgrades for their front brakes, and leave the rear ones stock. This can actually reduce your braking performance when racing. We've prepared the Balancing Upgrades article to show you why it is critical your car's stopping performance to always make any brake upgrade to both front and rear brakes at the same time.
Found this article online, thought it was interesting. What do you guys think about it?

Do a search and read some of the threads on the development of the StopTech system. I think it has been tested pretty well, and will work well with just front upgrades. Also, read some of the articles on their site, such as this one on rear brakes or this one on some more techinical stuff regarding upgrades and their impacts on the braking technology on cars today.

Stoptech also has some interesting articles (MannishBoy has already posted the links) that basically state that since the fronts do most of the braking work, it is possible to design a front only brake upgrade kit that will perform better than stock. They DO say that the front only system needs to be designed so that it is still "balanced" with the stock rear brakes, but they emphasize strongly that you rarely need to perform a four wheel brake upgrade (at least for performance reasons; looks are another story altogether).

I was planning on the Stoptech 4 wheel.
