nismo cams = need new valve springs?
just wondering, do i need to change out the valve train if i put in new cams? It makes sense to put in new valve springs since the mechanic will be in there anyways, but just wondering do i really need it.
Thanks EM-EFER,
I read some posts that you really don't need the springs unless you're tracking the car or constantly revving above 7k rpm so that's why i was asking. No, i want the labor costs as low as i can get so i'm hoping they don't have to pull the motor or the heads. I wanted to find out before talking to them to see what my options are. I did read your post where you have to take out the radiator to slide out the cams, great post by the way.
Are you staying NA or going FI, i noticed you put some strengthened conrod bolts?
