I have a Cryo2 cooler and a Kintix SSV plenum.
Now i came up with the idea to weld an alluminium or SS expansion chamber to the side of the SSV and have the CO2 flow through it, thus cooling the Plenum.
Any ideas on result/performance improvement? Specialness (having 2 SS braided lines running out of the plenum)?

Well since the SSV is stainless I think you can rule out the aluminum expansion chamber. Desent idea but ultimately I think that you may be better off making some sort of air to water cooler since i believe that water will absorb heat more readily than C02 molocules and you can use ice water or something.
i think it would be alot of work to do if you were going to be running it constantly and prolly not gain much at all. a vented hood and an isothermal gasket would prolly net you better results and no maintenance.

I would just use it for drag, I already have the Cryo2 system cooling the air intake, fuel and the intercooler, just was thinking about even more options to get more out of it...
