Lighten up Frances. sja177 is entitled to his opinion just like everyone else. Having a questioning attitude on these forums is necessary if you don't want to get taken. We all know that if it wasn't for the opportunity to make a buck, some of us would not be here. Peace.

That dyno above was done at Church automotive. Iam not going to put down Church's dyno but a stock Z pulled 258whp. Which we all know is really high. The bad thing about most dyno's is you can setup the dyno to read ANY number you want with the correction factor. (ESP dynapaks) But most tuners with an dynapak will set it up to mimmic DYNOJET #'s.

Hammads car is realistically a 255-265whp car. Rickdoggs car would pull about 265-270whp. A UTEC would most certainly give them another 5-10whp. But without getting internal NO ONE is going to hit 300whp NA on 93octane. SGP has built 3 NA cars with pistons, headwork, unichip and special grind cams and are coming up with around 290whp on 93 octane.

I believe Jermaine,s dyno was legit. How does anyone know he didnt use C16 and throw **** loads of timing on the car and tuned it to that. Its VERY possibly to hit those numbers with racegas and a great tune. It would just cost about $100 a day to drive

Thank you so much for posting this, this is what im trying to say. Z1 says he gained 50whp which is about 290whp. I started off by saying his dyno was photoshop'd. Becuase it looked like it. i was simply joking around. Im sure it was a real dyno, but it looked funny and put up very high numbers for his mods. (he took down the dyno after this thread started getting hot) My argument was that hes not making 50whp over stock with his mods. EM-EFER dynod at 278whp with more mods(including cams).

And I have been taken by missinformation liek this with previous cars, and mods, pretty hard actually. SO I guess I do have a issue with stuff like this.

Very well put. I think I have a fairly decent amount of NA mods and can only hope to get in the area of 290 and above!

being around 300whp NA is definitely feasible with the right mods and tuning. It seemed pretty farfetched about 3 years ago, but with the Z being around for a few years, after market caught up with the VQ and the mods are getting more potent.

50rwhp over stock is possible. It takes some hard work and some big cams. Take a look at Doug's thread posted awhile ago.
