Default Engine Hesitation

For some reason whenever I drive hard and hit the 1-2 shift at around 6800rpm my Z hesitates for a brief 1/4-1/2 second as soon as I shift into 2nd. VDC is off, of course, and the tires bark... as soon as the tires grab the engine hesitates. I have the UTEC on base map 1, but I recieve 0 knock count all the way up to 7200rpm, even with knock sensitivity at high level. What could this possibly be?

Looking at your logs, what is your A/F around that time?

Angry 2500 RPM dilemma

My problems are even worse, after beating on my Z on the track and of course I’m will into the rev limiter, I’ll shut down far a short period to tweak suspension. Then after restarting the car it doesn’t exceed 2500 rpm even in neutral. Not even a check engine light comes on and after an excruciating long rest every thing works. If any one comes up with any ideas this or to the original thread please give me some info.

Make sure the connection to your MAF sensor is tight and do a ECU reset.

Had this happen to me.

Not sure what my AFR is at that time because I've yet to install a wideband. That shall all be fixed this weekend when I get and install my Innovate LM-1. However, I don't think it could be an AFR issue because I still get zero knock and the engine doesn't hesitate in that (or any) RPM range except immediately after the tires grab on the 1-2 shift under WOT. I'll get back with some info this weekend.
