Default How would you run in a new strengtened engine?

I have been lurking for a while and pretty much know the route I want to go with my stock Z. This is a great site for Z knowhow

I will be ordering a longblock as part of my upgrades. I am thus curious how others have run in their new engines?

There are 2 school of thoughts that I know of.

1) Not going above x RPM for the first 1000 km and then x + 1000 RPM for the next 1000km

2) WOT after 50km to seat the piston rings properly.

What are your recommendations?

from personal experience i would have to say drive it like you want it to preform...thats what i was told and have done with all my new cars and they have been called "factory freaks" but i think it had to do with the way i drove it when i was breaking them in!
