Brian, pardon my ignorance, but what is the purpose of the magnetic tip? Also may I assume this will fit the G35? Thanks.

I believe what its supposed to do is collect ferrous metal particles from various parts of the engine floating in the oil. The VQ is aluminum block but various parts like the cylinder sleeves, cams, lifters, crank, rings, con rod, etc is all made of metal that can be attacted to the magnet on the drain plug.

Yes, that is correct, it is designed to accept the standard Nissan crush washers.

Well its more like bye bye to the Kic's plug bolt, the factory oil pan is steel and its stronger then the aluminum thread. But yes torque setting is pretty crucial as aluminum is softer and cannot be crammed on hard like the oem Nissan steel bolts, i would probably tightened these no more then you would tightened spark plugs.

yes, but if you over torque it and booger up the threads, that bad boy is not going to come out. Also, the crush washers are aluminum are they not?

The Crush washers are made of copper, as for the pan, the aluminum will strip first, if the pan threads get deposited with the stripped aluminum you can clean them out with a tap.

Does this just replace the oil pan drain plug?
Will it replace the tranny and rear differential drain plugs as well?

Unfortuantely, the tranny and differential plugs are quite a bit larger than the engine drain bolt.
And yep! It replaces the oil drain plug.

Well 1 for 3 ain't bad.
Next time I order from you, I'll have to pick one up.

You should get on the horn to them and tell them to make a magnetic tranny and diff plug as well.
