Is It Cheaper To Install Cams And Headers At The Same Time?

I just got JWT cams and was wondering if i should just get headers as well or are they two totall different install jobs? Any suggestions of where to go in So Cal?

well if they pull the motor then the headers are easy. Depends on the shop. It took 2 people 6 hrs. on mine iwth motor in. My buddy and I pulled my motor in 3.5 hrs. last week and we coulda done it faster. The power steering was being a pita. Cams are for the pros only, let them do what they want there. If there one the fence about pulling it, tell them too and that you wanna do headers. The more I think about it the more I say pull it.

I didn't think the cams were that bad when i installed them on my maxima. I think now i that i know how to do it and the fact that the z is rwd the install should take around 8 hours w/ the motor in the car w/ 2 people.

The biggest chore Iv found on header install was takin all the stuff off the top of the motor in order to get a clean torque on the headers. Since u have to do that to install the Cams u might as well do the headers. Iv never had a prob on dropping the stocks out and as a rule I break the steering universal joint loose to get in the Lt header
