I'm pretty sure exhaust is just for the sound, but does a IC or exhaust add power or any performance to your car?

Oh and while i'm at it...and I know this might make some people mad but...

what are some good brands for these 2 products?

Exhaust: For forced induction I would suggest HKS Hipower.

IC: Can't go wrong with Spearco

 

Well since you are looking for an intercooler I would say Nismo might not fit for you. Look for a True Dual Exhuast

 

Do you have a turbo?

 

I'm betting on no.

 

This is why I suggested the HKS Hipower, it's good for both NA and FI applications. I'm a fan of true dual systems

 

Exhaust can mean different things. Replacing the OEM exhaust manifold, catalytic converters, and everything from the catalytic converters back. Can modifications such as this improve performance? Take a look at my time slips in the drag racing forum. You tell me.
