Chalk me up for a pair chessie! Also, are there any alterations to the program to avoid the CEL or are you still running a stock program? Also, are they the factory O2 sensors mounted in your custom made bungs? Thanks!

Factory O2 sensors..
NO changes to the program to alter CEL lights.. so far so good...
we are running the Modified Fuel Program right now... and will reflash the ECU to run the stock program to see if the CEL goes on to make sure its not the altered program that is preventing the CEL from not going on... just your standard testing procedures..
but i've heard around that the test pipes will NOT trip the lite.. so we just need to reconfirm that rumor..

. I may only use the straight pipes for track time I don't know yet.
Great News Chebosto!!! Thanks for the ecu compilation and all the work you've done with your very own Z. Talk about taking one for the team.
AWESOME!
Please keep us informed.
On a really really neat note: We think we have found another ignition map that makes a huge difference. My Tuner changed it around and with traction control off, the car fishtails like crazy, much easier than before... and the throttle response is much more crisp....
Please keep us informed.
Chebosto,
About the CEL: I remember you saying that the light had stayed off, but you were wondering if it was because of the new things you had done to the ECU. You said you were going to go back to the original settings to see if the CEL stayed off. Just wondering if you had done this yet.

will reconfirm later today and will post the update in the main thread..
XBS: We will have an initial group buy, i.e. 20 or so programs at discount (aka. introductory price) and then they will probably go up in price... i'll try to get us a 'club' discount, but i dont set prices... will also. reconfirm this at a later time when we' re ready for sale..

I hope you will provide data of what this chip will change and Dyno data as well. Will this chip be able to be updated if we go TT or SC? If yes, should someone like me just wait until I get the FI done? Maybe the company that does the FI will also be adjusting the chip? I am new at this game, does anyone know?

Yes. if you go SC/TT you can have the chip reprogrammed.. thats why i want to get a boost kit now so we can get the fuel mapping done. but thats another story.
but the end game answer is: if you go boost, you can get a different mapping to benefit your setup.. that might be a bit more of a custom tuning job. but thats definately possible...

So if I am going to FI within 6-8 months, it sounds like I am better to get the ECU at time of FI. If getting the ECU now, what do you think would be the cost of reprogramming it later for FI?
YEAH! Awesome news Cheston. This definitely settles the debate over the ECU and Mods....Man, Nissan sure is a bunch of crafty sons of b*&^%'s.
and how much will it cost?
Will we have to send you our ECU's?

, That's great, I hope the light continues to stay off.
