This topic came up a couple years ago, but no resolution from what I can remember.

Anyways, when I drive hard and step on the clutch to shift, I hear a loud honking sound....doesnt happen all the time, but frequent enough for concern.

Any ideas? throwout bearing, clutch, tranny?? Had my z since 2002 with original clutch, but nismo flywheel put in 3 yrs. ago. Shifting feels fine with no slippage. thanks.
