Ok, This is my first, brand new 06 Z. My question is i know it is new, but is there a reason when i take off in first gear, it seems to make a rattley sound from the clutch like it was bogging out. Is this normal or is this something that goes away after time? Another forum just says take it to the dealer, it under warranty, but i want to make sure i need to, cause apparantely the dealer said the clutch will make a noise in first gear when you drive it to like 10 mph, then let it idle down, then engage the clutch, it makes basically the same sound like when i take off. The dealer told me it was because the car has like no slips, it just grabs and goes, so i dont want to sound like an *** going back and asking about this noise. Someone please just tell me if i am crazy or is this normal. thanks

I just bought an 06 touring Roadster and it is doing the same thing. I was wondering if it was a problem and considered going to the dealer about it. Thanks for the post!

Hi.
I also have a problem. I'm not sure if this is the same problem as you are having.
My clutch is rattle when I press and hold it when idle. You can only hear it when you are inside your car by pressing and holding the clutch (close all windows and doors, no AC).
I knew that the rattle sound when you are in neutral is normal. But in my case, I have rattle when car in neutral and as soon as I depress the clutct the rattle from outside/under the car is stoped (which is normal), But then I close my door and I hear rattle slightly from my clutch inside the car. Seems like the rattle is just transferred (but not as loud as with the clutch out).
Is this normal, or my bearing/flywheel is going bad?

Thanks for the help. It also makes a pop from the driver side inside the cabin, and it seems from the site it could be my clutch assembly. I didn't happen to see if this is bad, or just annoying. Cause the car did it for like a day then i just does it every so often, should i even bother lookign at having it fixed cause it will cause other damage, or just wait a while to see if it comes back?
