Mike...PM received and replied.
I imagine it will take just a few months for the kits to be revised.
This is awesome news. This is giving me more reasons than I already have to come back to the Z community.

Maybe the VQ25HR is a hint at a new Silvia...

This new VQ looks good. Is it going to have direct injection? From the tech articles it doesn't mention what kind of injection system it'll use. Do you think Nissan will stick with port injection instead of GDI for the VQ35HR?

I don't like the fact of a "sound supressing" engine cover... they talk about making the car sound better (which is hard IMO) but want to cover up the sound of the engine... maybe they just want the exhaust heard.

(people are silly). But how hard is it to take off an engine cover? Just take it off

^ I guess that all depends on how handy you are with tools.
I personally liked the engine cover on the Z since it can be used to add a certain level of bling (had mine painted to match) without killing the sound. Maybe the old cover can be rigged to work. Or maybe some company can come out with some snazy carbon fiber cover.
Tony (some people can't install Popchargers... how they gonna get the cover off?
)

I just checked out the C&D website and noticed they had a road test of the 07 G35 sedan. Well... they managed a 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and the 1/4 was a 13.9@103. They pulled a 5.8 0-60 and 14.6@98 (298hp motor)
I don't know about you guys but that definitely sounds like an improvement to me. Makes me excited on what will happen as far as the Z goes. Maybe a power bump? I hope so.

They said they were even more impressed that the motor only had 250 miles on it when they ran the 1/4.
