The construction is what is disturbing. The Z runs a pretty high oil pressure at high rpm, especially those who like to run the engine hard while it's still cold, and I question the ability of the cardboard to keep oil from going around the filter media. Who knows.., kinda curious to see the other filter torn apart too. I wonder now which one the SE-R cup guys are using.

Napa Gold's are supposed to be good filters. Too bad there isn't a NAPA anywhere close to me.
