People don't like Castrol Syntec b/c it is not considered a true synthetic oil. I use it and notice that my engine is much smoother with this oil. Wal-mart sells 5 qt jug of this oil for $19.95
I agree, no oil is better for the price. I might switch back to this oil when I put my Vortech in. That way I can change my oil every 2,000 miles and not break the bank.
castrol 0w-30 was good when you could still get it, ive ran rp 0w-30 and 5w-30 with no problems...mobil 1 is alright if you are running it for the cost
