Default The time has come -

On April 12 and 13th - Avalon Racing will be building two all out modified 350's. These will be for a major magazine article and feature.
One will be my personal car and the other a customers car. These cars along with a few of your Limited Edition 350's that will be sold through Team Nissan will be ready for testing and viewing after the above dates. I can only provide a few spy photos as the magazine what the good stuff for them.

For people that know my reputation in the Z market, the 350Z will be at or above my standards. These cars will blow you away.

For more inofrmation please feel free to contract me.

Pray for good weather .............................................

My sponsors, crew are excited to bring you these cars.

Yeah, I have to ask this too. I'm not trying to be a dick, but having an I/H/E isn't going to yield that much more power. If you were offereing a setup that included a unique port / polish, cam profiles, high-compression pistons, researched dyno-tuning, etc, then I could understand.

Default The project car

We found on all other Nissan's that they are slightly detuned for the US market. also in discussions with John Yakawa ( Product Manager for the 350 in Japan) at the last convention, he indicated that tuning changes could yield more horsepower.

We will use our knowledge of things that worked in the past and try them on the 350Z. Little things like measuring the throttle bodies at WOT. In the 300Zx we found they onlyt open up to 85%. After some slight tweaking we changed that to 100% and gained 10 HP RWHP on a Dynojet 248C. This + other subtle chenges will be tested. We have the capabilites to test and tweak.

Bottom line is there is a lot of potential. Bolt on's alone is never enough.

Have you looked into this or has anyone else to see if this is the case on the 350Z?

Default more data

We got our initial data in brief conversations with Nissan engineers on the car. We have seen these subltle changes on every type of Nissan we have built.

We expect some to apply and some to be fruitless. Since a lot of what we do is racing, we will be going over these little items with a fine tooth comb.

A good frien of mine who we race against in GT-2 is running the VQ motors and we are learning alot of what they are findout out in their testing and development.

Will we share - Yes and no. We have always shared a ton of data on nboth our show cars and race cars. We do hold some things back if we need the data for competiive advantage in our race and show efforts.
