Is the upper plenum made of plastic? It looks like plastic to me.

if they used the right polymer, plastic is better against heat soak from a materials engineering point of view

plastic = weight savings and resistance to heat transfer.

That plenum looks funky, flat on top. The dual throttle bodies will be nice. 2 popchargers =

Any one else think the 315 hp figure seems a bit low considering the 500 extra revs, bump in compression, dual intakes, and equal length headers?

The 315 is under the new strick SAE test. OEM's can not fudge the numbers like they use to. They are now tested by a higher standard.
If you look at the acura TL it went from 270 in 05 to 251 in 06 because of this new testing.
So 315 is really good.

The headers look alot like Nismo ones and thats OEM.This motor is pretty much maxed out from the factory. NA mods will barely do anything now. I think the only things that can be done are twin intakes, pulley, test pipes and a tune. Already comes with equal length headers and a TD ex. with a X-pipe. Also FI might be alot harder with the new 10:6:1 CR. We just have to wait and see...

Doesnt the bump in compression extract more HP from each pound of boost? Also better throttle response and area under the curve?
