I'm sorry to bring back an old thread but I didn't want to start a new one for the same question. I just had my oil change done at Nissan and ever since then my idle has been lower. Before the oil change, it was usually around 900 and now its like this (see pic below). I was just wondering if there is something wrong and if I should bring it back to Nissan.

I also didn't mean to revive an old thread, but after getting my 30k service done and JWT clutch/flywheel installed I notice my idle is around 600rpm now, instead of 800rpm like it used to be. It drives fine and normal, but I was just curious as to what happened and how I can bring it back to 800?

People don't realize that idle is the zero excess power production point, as any excess torque would slowly increase rpm.

Obviously using AC compressor or electrics needs to produce compensating power to stablize rpm, usually an extra 100 rpm does it.

High cold start idle is necessary to heat the precats/cats to speed their emission light off.

Thats the perfect idle right there!! Mine sits at 700-750rpms for a few seconds and then drops 100RPMs or so usually rests at 600-650rpms..... Do you all think I need to clean the MAF...Since I have an inconsistent idle or do you think its normal?
