I didn't. I bet you would feel more from the solid motor mounts then the trq. dampners.

I installed mine a week ago. As far as increased vibration, it is barely noticeable at idle and a non-issue when in motion. The main benefit I have found is a more solid shifter feel. 1st-2nd & 2nd-3rd is smoother and less "clunky".

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I installed one of these last night and have to admit, it definitely helps smooth out shifting. I really didn't buy into that idea when I ordered it, or at least didn't think it would be as effective as it is. My intent was to limit the engine shift under torque so I could lower my strut brace a little. No issues with the brace being hit by the motor or the hood, except when I am removing wax right over it, then I get the hood to tap it. Small annoyance and not really worth the price of the ED to remedy just that, but hey. I do feel a lot better about spending for it after driving it.

As far as in cab vibe, I don't notice any difference. It may be there, but I couldn't tell. For me the install for such a simple piece was an absolute PITA. If you do this, do yourself a favor and make sure you have a 10" socket extension handy, as well as the socket/allen key adapters.

I might have to pick up one of these.

Seems like a nice cheap little mod, and we all love those.

I just bought one from this guy (Triple8Sol), the one he sell is TopSpeed Pro-1engine damper, it's actually stillen replica, I would say they are the same, but a lot cheaper, can't even get this price from ebay. Just done install today, I didn't feel any additional vibration in the cabin, it definitely help shifting smoother and no more "clunky" noise, this mod definitely worth it

Will I? I wasn't aware any cutting was required; none of the threads I've seen on that brace mentioned it...

Hmm, ok. Shouldn't be a big deal to put a little hole there. I got over the apprehension of doing stuff like that when I installed my own Nismo wing; I had to drill several holes and cut a couple larger ones underneath with a hole saw.

Please post pics of your install when you get it. I have been wondering about this mod for a long time.

I'm thinking about getting this too! Does it make a difference that I have an auto? Should I still be able to notice a difference?

Stillen says it helps to prevent losing power due to the engine movement no longer being present. Anyone notice a power difference?
