Default All call about AAM oil spacer kit

To me these instructions are misleading.

8) Remove the bolts holding the oil pick up tube
9) Apply RTV to oil pickup spacer
10) Apply RTV to oil pickup
11) Postion the oil pickup spacer against the pickup
12) Postion the two against the oil pump

Now, what do I apply to the oil pump first. In what order. The oil pickup spacer or the oil pickup. I'm sorry, this just doesn't make sense. If I had to guess it would be the oil pickup to the oil pump then the spacer.

the spacer goes between the pickup and pump.

edit: i dont see a need to apply RTV to the pick up, or at least i didnt.

8) Remove the bolts holding the oil pick up tube( To drop the tube out )

9) Apply RTV to oil pickup spacer ( Both Sides sparingly )

10) Apply RTV to oil pickup (Can Kinda disregard if u appyed to both sides of the spacer )

11) Postion the oil pickup spacer against the pickup ( Run ur bolts through it to keep it aligned )

12) Postion the two against the oil pump ( Start ur Bolts and torque )
