Default 350EVO Terrible Service, 3.91 FD issue

Ok, i never post on here about bad service or anything, well, frankly because I never get bad service from people or vendors on here... But I need to ask, has anyone dealt lately with 350evo? I ordered a final drive gear set from them on the 4th of Nov. 2006, this month, and have not recieved it. It took me a week to be able to get a hold of them about it, no big deal, they said they were backed up on the spacers. Ok, np. They were supposed to send out the gearing w/or w/out the spacer asap expedited shipping. This was over two weeks ago. Since then, I have called and left messages, and emailed them continuously. I have not been able to get a hold of them, and they won't return my calls... I know they go out to racing events all the time, but forgetting about customers is terrible....

i know thanksgiving was last week, so of course i can understand and give allowances for that, but still.
At this point all I want to do is cancel the order.


I'm trying to find out if anyone has had similar issues lately with them.
Or if they still frequent the forums, maybe they'll see this....


BTW, I was going to post this in the general 350z forum, but posts there have been being moved around to forums not relating to the topics, so that's why i'm posting here....

Try on the other forum, the motoring one. Some Cinci members are on there that have some contact with them, they should be able to give you some information about what is going on. I haven't been up there in a year, do know that they scaled back quite a bit.

I didn't even think they were still in business (for the Z that is).

Around the beginning of the summer I was emailing them to try to get a set of sways and see if they were making the A-arms anymore.

I got an email back quite a bit later saying they would let me know when BOTH were back in stock.

After that....crickets....

Figured they fell off the face of the earth and I just brought my business elsewhere.

There are many other vendors that carry the final drive (EX: Z1auto), I suggest you look into another vendor.

+1 I didn't think they sold stuff for the Z anymore.

Hey Tony, why don't you just get a refund and buy a set of the Central 20 3.9 FD?

haha, i can't get a hold of BJ at 350evo to even get a refund on the purchase!
bank already said contesting it is a no go.

i just talked to someone at 350evo earlier today to ask some questions about the final drive.

anyway, i brought up the sway bar thing, to see if they were gonna be making them again.

he said he had like 40-50 on order with his original supplier, but they fell off the face of the earth, so they are currently looking for a new one.
they have come across a few they like, but have not decided on who yet. he did say that they will start selling them again once they find a suitable supplier.

he was very helpful, and pleasant to deal with.

When talking to them, they're pleasant to deal with, everything seems great. They're great on the phone, a defenite plus.
but i emailed a few times over the past few weeks with no response.

BJ emailed me two days ago to tell me that they would be shipping out the complete order, still waiting to see it, so i'll know within the next few days here....

It's jsut frustrating not knowing whats going on, and not getting updated for a whole month...

hmm, so you havent received your final drive yet?

cuz the guy i talked to on the phone said they have a bunch in stock. but since you say you ordered the set, maybe thats the hold up. sorry, i didnt really read thru the whole post. maybe they can just ship you the final drive now so you can atleast have something? and just offer to pay extra shipping when the other items come in.

yup, thats all the same info (phone # etc) that i have been calling.
they had the ring/pinion in stock a month ago. A bunch of them supposedly.
still waiting on it to come in. If they shipped it, it'll take a few days i'm sure to reach me. hopefully that'll take care of things....

Kallusive, which Z do you drive in Redlands? Is it the purplish, chameleon one? If so, that is bad a@@ and my buddy Mike took some pics of it a few weeks ago!

They just don't care about customer service after they have your money. I called for 4 weeks leaving messages. Still no return call...
There are to many good vendors on here to send your money to those guys.

ok, so i get an email from BJ wednesday saying that the final drive would be sent out via expedited shipping, and that he'd send me a tracking number later. That was last wednesday, and still nothing. I've sent him two emails to at least get a tracking number, and no response. I never figured that even expedited shipping would get the gears to me by the end of the week, so i'm not upset with that. Just upset that they never sent a tracking number. And again, conveniently forgot to return emails.

so.... yeah..... there we are so far...

to be honest, i'm wondering if they even shipped them...
