Engine stand thread size
Many times the Bellhousing bolts are too short---UGH--- As said, all u can do is get everything set up, grab a bell housing bolt and take a ride. Different stands require different lengths.

well, the stand I have would require 2" plus whatever the engine would take... I have called Autozone and they said I need to know the thread pattern. I called several places including the dealer and nobody knows..
The dealer has my old engine and I plan on picking this up Saturday morning.. so I was hoping someone would know so I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of buying about 3 different size threads just to be sure.. someone mentioned maybe 14mm..
anyone??

If the dealer has ur engine and ur car, as it sounds has no engine in it , There must be some bellhousing bolts laying somewhere ???? I cant keep track cuz I work on lots of different engines, seems to me the the Z bolts are a 14 or 15 mm hex head but there are 3 diff pitches. Sorry ---- Part of DIY is legwork. Feel lucky , Im 20 miles from the closest town. I run my a$$ ragged.
