Please excuse the x-post.
Car is an auto 04.5. Car has never done this before until saturday. Saturday i went down to fast intentions to get my true dual exhuast put on and when they we're finished we took it out for a spin and came back and parked it. Went inside, did the payment thing, came back out to leave and when i turned the key over it turned over but almost instantly the rpms dropped to zero and the car shut off. Started again but this time i gave it a little gas and it caught and i drove home. Parked it at home for about 5 hours and went to get back in and she started right up no problem. Drove for 30 mins, ran a quick errand, got back in and it did the same thing. I've proven that it only happens when warm but i'm still not sure what the cause would be. Is this a simple computer tuning problem or something worse?
Summary: Car won't start when warm unless i give it a little gas when turning the key over. Starts right up with no problems when engine is cold. Any ideas?

You probably need to reset the ECU with the Nissan instructions. When I installed my Pop Charger, I reset it by disconnecting my battery and my car would not start when it was warmed up. It would just die right after it cranked. I believe if you reset the ECU the proper way, it will relearn how to idle. If you don't reset, it will eventually learn to idle... well I know mine did but it took a few days.

Sounds like fast intentions is gonna make a couple more bucks.

Yeah, I would try this^ first. Is the check engine light on?

check the coolent temp sensor when the engine is hot it shuld be 80 dig Centiegrade and above.
if the sensor gets faulty then it will show you 40dig C.
and this will give you hard starting while the engine is hot.
i hope this can help

I would like to res-erect this dead post as i am having the same problem and it has yet been fixed using all of technosquares totorials?
Ive reset it using pedal method and the other things. . . .should i just leave it now to 'learn', despite its dieing all the time?
This is the same ECU that 'cancels out' any mods you do to it, but cant even idle after its brain gets reset??? WTF
