Had the same issue and fixed it.
I know this thread is incredibly old, but this info might be useful to someone. I had the same issue for 2 years. I changed the plugs, injectors, fuel rail, dampers, fuel pump and did an idle relearn. I finally THOROUGHLY cleaned the throttle body and it immediately fixed it. Starts up and idles perfect right after the cleaning. Did a relearn right after just in case I messed with the throttle body sensors. I hope this helps someone.
I would like to res-erect this dead post as i am having the same problem and it has yet been fixed using all of technosquares totorials?
Ive reset it using pedal method and the other things. . . .should i just leave it now to 'learn', despite its dieing all the time?
This is the same ECU that 'cancels out' any mods you do to it, but cant even idle after its brain gets reset??? WTF
