well its in for round 2 of the consumption test.....

it was loud as hell on my way to work this morning...this thing is def out of oil...


i think ima trade for 07....sigh...

as of thursday nissan has approved a new long block..it goes in tuesday.



you know whats funny about this situation...on tuesday when i bring it in for my complaint about low oil pressure and noisy lifters they tell me that the car has plenty of oil and no lifter noise....the very next day i take it back and they say it has than 1 qt of oil in the car...


the damn thing burned 4qts in 2500 miles..

well its getting a new motor...has anyone had a consumption problem after their motor has been replaced...thanks guys

 

DAMN well I hope all goes well, I just started to notice my car seems a bit low on oil and its been bout 2500 miles since my last oil change it's causing me to worry a bit since I dont really get on my car often. I started a thread about this issue please find it or ill add the link to it and just add your name and info if you feel comfy doing so. So just name, email, problem found and how dealer resolved it. I think this will be easier for us all if we can get in touch with people who have this problem and are in process of getting it fixed. Kind of like a list for reference for others who are starting to experience this issue.
