We are going to pull the VB and have Sharif modify it. There is a place in town that rents lifts and we can store the vehicle inside there also while the VB is sent out and modified. The trick is, we need to vacate the lift bay. Can the auto trans be put in neutral (engine off of course) with the valve body out?

Really the only diff between P and N is the parking pawl.

Get some wheel dollies and put them under the rear tires, and it won't matter.
