Thumbs up Clutchmasters Stage 4 clutch/lightweight flywheel

well my buddy(hes a mechanic) and i dropped the tranny in my garage and put in the clutchmasters stage 4 clutch and lightweight flywheel. sharif from forged suggested it and i think its great!! first off it only took about an hour and a half with the jacks all the way up to get the tranny out, for fun we put it on scale(tranny) 125lbs with fluid!! it was a pig, their is also about a 7lb weight on the tranny. my mechanic buddy said they do it for vibrations because 1 out of every 50 might have that prob so they put it on all of them...theres that extra .0001 in the 1/4!! for all you weight watchers!!
as for driving the car, the clutch pedal is prob about 20% stiffer then factory but engagement is just like stock!! a great clutch for the price. sharif said it could handle between 450-500 hp ...clutchmasters themselves said 550tq no prob!!! i was really impressed, definately worth the $1100!!

no noise issues ...actually quieter then stock..when i had the stock clutch i would sometimes get that "clicking" sound on engagement...now....none ...im really impressed with how almost stock feeling it is compared to how much power it can hold...

Great to hear. So you arent noticing any "cement mixer" noise at 2000rpm or so under load? The CM's are pretty quiet, but I am glad yours appears to be near silent.

like stated about...clutchmasters says the satge 4 can handle 500-550 tq...im guessing the stage 3 would def be in the 400 range.... i have no slipping...just complete engagement and go time...

can anyone confirm that all clutchmasters are silent? I'm ordering a ORC 409 Silent plate+ high mu(friction)+ damped clutch & flywheel from Japan for $900 to replace my nismo clutch. If someone can confirm that clutchmasters are silent or at least the fx300 then i won't have to get the clutch from Japan.
