Default Catch can on 06 revup N/A?

Just wanted to know if using an arc catch can or any catch can for that matter would help with the oil consumption problem found on the 06 revups?

If you dont track your car or have FI setup then you wont see any benefit from adding oil catch can.

Question (sorry for hijak). . .

A Catch Can purpose is to capture oil that passed by the rings or valve guides and seals.

I can understand a (full) race car having larger ring gaps and perhaps a looser overall tolerance on moving parts, permitting some blow-by and requiring a catch can. These engines are designed to be re-built often.

But to have a loose tollerance design on a street engine would result in consantly fouled plugs and unnecessary oil consumption.

Someone please tell us why you have a catch can, and if it is actually doing any good. (or is it a bandaid on a oil-consumption problem?)
