For me personally, I'll never get a reflash to increase the RPM limit. It's not the type of stress I want to put on the engine. Its like burning the candle from both ends.

Maybe if I wanted to do it simply for demonstration purposes with a couple of dyno pulls but never for anything else. Not for tracking or daily driving.
nice info hydra. I have a quesiton for ya , without cams do you see the revup making 300rwhp. And if so, have any idea on how to get to the mark. Take for instance the cosworth plenum etc , and all that may be on this horizon. Im soon going to be facing the Mrev2 spacer purchase, but my issue is that it increases power down low as the mid. But is this mod the best for peak power out of the Intake for the revup. My goal is 300rwhp no cams with a utec. Any thoughts brotha.

Just to clarify, you have tested a rev-up without cams and made 292hp (Dynojet)? Nice!

That would be on Dynapack. DynoJet ratings would be far less than 292.

Good work Tony. Let's see more outta that thing.

I wanna see dynojet numbers for an HR. Its not going to surprise me if the new rating system kills the power the engine has on paper.

wired 24/7 - I know but I like to make myself feel better
Hahaha! Yeah this is true. I'll make up for it when the new exhaust comes out. I'tll make some really good gains.
BTW what do you have on there now?

Yes.
I did the dyno on my own dynapack, but it has been calibrated to the exact same machine you did your dynos on.

I brought my dynapack to Shawns, placed it along side his and we used his G to do dyno runs on each. Same day, same gas and all that stuff.

The data files of each were then sent to dynapack NZ to create a new cal file for my machine. We could dyno your Z on my dynapack and it would probably be better than 2-3% repeatability.

We'll have to have a dyno day some time soon at the new shop.

The only info I can give at this point is that I am tuning it on the dyno now.

Not too long after we will need to somehow organize an exhaust shootout!

Thanks Todd.

And 13.644@104.68mph is crazy for a stock Z.
High gears for a good ET and a high average HP for a good trap!

They did good on this one.

I agree, pretty crazy for a stock Z. Almost 105mph at the end of the 1/4 is very nice. I would like to see someone throw some Slicks or DR's on a stock car and see what it can do.

Im curious how much can be pulled out of the engine with Bolt-ons. I guess time will tell.

If possible could you tell us what exhaust(and engine) plans if any you have for us 06 and below sedan owners? Pretty much a yes or no would be fine on if you plan to release something for us sedan owners.

You can easily break 300HP with a new exhaust.
