your belts are squeaking..it has nothing to do with the pulley
trust me...you think they are tight enough, but if they make noise, they aren't

I just started a company called WRP Technology and I make pullies for the Titan and Sentra crowd -
I take it they didn't make a steel sleeve for the collar that is up against the crank?
Either way below is some pics I made for those vehicles - I am starting to work on the 350z pulley and mine will be almost half of what the unorthoday pulley cost - I will be giving a few prototypes away for people to product review on them -

the reason why the are squeking is because the outer wall on the pulley is not tapered correctly and is rubbing the belt on entrance and exit of contact with the pulley - i see it all the time with cheap imitation pulleys -
the one thing you guys can rest assure is that I know how to make these without any issues
here are the pics i mentioned in the previous post :
stock pulley
stock size
underdriven
Here are the finished products -

I just replaced my KJR pulley with a UR set. The KJR only had about 10K miles on it and had a couple of groves worn into it. I'm glad I did it although getting teh pully off the alternator was not fun.

I have to admit that initially, I was skeptical of the whole claim that there might be a problem. That was until a couple weeks ago I saw one in person that had been removed from a VQ engine. It's pretty obvious that the friction from the edges of the front seal are wearing away at the aluminum part of the hub.
I'd suggest that anyone with an all-aluminium pulley (i.e. no steel sleeve on the hub) better pull it out and check to make sure that it's not getting worn.
