Default Tach jitters

Hey all, I've got an '04 Z that's had a strange prob for the past few thousand miles. The tachometer is very bouncy (jittery), especially when changing from low gears. Didn't used to do this. Looks like a metranome, not smooth. Anyone seen this problem.

ummm,no..

The tach needle just randomly decides it wants to jump around a little...For example if you change gears and hold the clutch to the floor or rev the car, the needle will just jump down instead of smoothly soming back down to idle...

I test drove 2 03 350z and an 04 and they all seemed to have that problem. Didn't think much of it. I doubt its anything bad.

My Z has done it since I bought it new in early 2003...the Z just has a really sensitive tach.
