I think The Experience made around 1850 on their funny car first and 1250 on their street car (pic attached) I also attached a pic of the Xtreme car ... I think the Xtreme car was runing an RB26 when they first broke in the 7sec range and then changed to VQ35

That is the scariest thing I have ever seen.
If you need 2 parachutes on your Z, you have a ****ing monster.

no bro its the truth many people were mad at this engine do to the fact that nothing ever came up like this. Yea the RB and 2jz have always been great engines and always will be. But their are new things coming now. Personally i have always been a fan boy of the 2jz i always had hopes on the vq to recently i gave up we hadent seen not a single Z pass the 800 whp mark and maybe a handful in the 700 whp mark that had ever shown up in the forum or that i know of we have heard of some but i never personally have seen one. Now the whole 1800 hp for us owners is not really something to look at because as you can see does things dont have fenders wells so space is their. With those parts and getting the right turbo set up like sfr's or some gt42's to fit somewhere we will be seeing a whole new era of Z's dominating alot of cars IMO. Lets you see what the new GT-R brings to the table.

yall have to remember, supras and skylines didn't make zillion HP right after it came out. took couple of years of trial error of tuners to get where it was. VQ is still in its infant stage and within couple of years of dabbling with the new hr engine, we're going to see some seriousness and the skyline's 3.7 will be the new 2jz and the RB.
