Default Engine turned off !! urgent help

Was tracking my car yesterday,
suddenly after the long straight, preparing to get into the corner,
the engine switched off, had to quickly gear jump start it,

happened only once
had a 1/2 tank of fuel, plenum spacer and straight pipes.

what could be the cause of this problem ?

i'll be tracking my car again next week,
want to know why or else i'd cancel that, it was scary trying to stop @ 200 km/hr .

Does the Z come with automatic engine cut off on low oil pressure or supply?

could that be the reason ?
or is it fuel pressure drop ? engine is NA though,

I was going on the straight, preparing for the corner, here i applied the brakes (dashbord lights flashed and here the engine cutoff) - i managed to slide the car (with no brakes thank god for coilovers) - put it into 4th and gas ..(gear jump start)

Some people have seen this before after installing an intake. Usually, they report it happening after a WOT run on the highway or exiting the highway onto an entrance ramp.

In both cases, they come off the gas and coast for a moment. The RPM falls and then the engine stalls. I forget what the cause is, but I want to say it is a vacuum issue. Again, if I recall correctly, they typically will have a small intake leak after installing the new hardware.

Is your plenum spacer new? Did you use new gaskets? Just curious.

Again, I could be wrong, but this sounds familiar to me.

this is a common problem with installing intake & plenum. Nothing to do with leak. It has something to do with MAF sensor is confused with new intake or plenum. Try to reset ECU.

I have same probleem after installing HKS intake. The problem gets better with Pop charger. That's why i've never coast my Z anymore

yes plenum spacer is new
and all gaskets are new,

so resetting the ECU should fix this issue ?
and can someone please confirm wheather or not the Z come with automatic engine cut off on low oil pressure or supply?

maybe i just need a race oil pan ?

with an aftermarket intake, the maf reads that more air is coming in than what it is designed for, thus thinking a leak, and shuts the engine down to prevent damage. the dealer called it "flooding the maf"
i have the hks rs suction kit and i had this problem. took it apart and tightened all the clamps down, now it works fine.

Today i discovered my engine has 1 liter of oil consumed !!

would a A/F controller help in stooping the MAF from stopping the engine !?
does it bypass the MAF ?
or corrects the ratio ?
