lol If you caught that then you should have caught the 06 REVUP 6spd G35's actually have 298hp not 300. Do a better job of investing next time.

listen , i raced countless times in both cars owned both of them.
The 287 has more tq downlow and in a 1/4 run theres a slight advantage to the 287s because its in its power band more so then the revup

But on the highway the revup will eat a 287 the revup has more uptop and will pull a 287.I have done this countless times. If your racing from a dig obviously making more tq below give you a advantage but from a highway roll you will get taken . If you want im stock now and will prove it tothe doubters on a highway over here if u wanna test maybey put money on it iof u feel passionate. I did this countless times . Even when i had a 287 on the highway i would get pulled by a revup all the time. up top. The 03 has more tq , (*****) well it depends the 287 tapers off so if you consider that ***** then your right. The revup has lesser tq downlow but more ***** uptop. The revups addons really dont benefit it from 1/4 stand point . Even the plenum changes really only benefit it uptop.

Yup, the REVUP's sweet spot is 4th gear 115+.

yea your right. Not many people understand that because everyone races below that but being in a revup i can attest that that 30% change comes into affect at exactly that gear and speed. Nice. I actually have to race the HR now at the sweet spot. To see how she does below that was ......yea not so good due to them making all there power before i hit 4th gear.

With the REVUP the best mods are 3.9 gearing and a lightweight clutch. It makes that engine purr.

Actually there was a link on here with a great deal. It was $549 for the central 20 gears.

I dont think nismo has a 3.9. The Central 20's are fine, its all about the install to count for any errors. You can also get the 3.7FD from the nissan trucks.

Actually the spacers dont work on the REVUp motors, you won't gain any power from it.

What I suggest is drop in filter, test pipes, exhaust, 3.9 gearing, flywheel, headers, and a UTEC. That should give you quite a lot of power.

moderdyne stated that the mrev2 and spacer dynod the highest on a revup. Thats why im aiming fo the most peak hp which the mrev 2 and the spacer did yield the best results on the revup. Check out the dynos of people with it .It put more under the curve then any mod i seen for the money.

I didn't read the MREV2 part before I thought you meant just a spacer. Althought the MREV2 and spacer is a bada$$ mod, I think with the 3.9 gearing the REVUP manifold will also shine. Mainly because the peak power is much higher in your rpm range. The torque and hp increase under the curve on the MREV stuff is amazing though. I'm speaking from experience because I used to have it on my Z.

what do u have now? i wanna mod this btch up man but this oil sht is killing me man. Im almost afraid to even purchase anything because of this 1000 mile test bs man.

What im curious is that the 1/2 spacer yeilds more hp yet i see noone with it on a revup im very curious to see what it will dyno indepently. with the mrev2.

I think mostly because the optimal setup is to retain the strut bar and make power.....the 1/2 spacer may not really make more power....more sound but I think Motordyne has tested the combo and maybe most people dont feel the small gains are worth losing the strut brace and losing the stealth look

Just a guess....I am gettin the 5/16 spacer and MREV2 lower for my revup if the cosworth intake doesnt prove itself better.....now I just have to wait a few months.....AGRRRR but in the mean time I guess HFCs, HKS dual ti and a pro kit can keep me busy....not a small chunk but will get the car closer to where I think the Z should be
