Default Before and after bolt-ons dyno!

Here is a baseline graph for my car when it was stock a few weeks ago and with the bolt ons installed last week. Total gain is about 9whp. I was a little more optimist for more whp but what the hell, car feels great as it is. Last week we also did all the differential work coming from an open. I don't know if that contributed to drivetrain loss. Maybe. What do you think, guys? Time for an ECU upgrade (piggy, reflash, ems, etc)? How can I get those 20whp I need?

Yeah, we try to do lemonade with the lemons we have. Its not much in terms of dynamometer technology, but its enough to tune a car to make it go fast. BTW, its a mustang dyno.

i did injen ses, alpha test pipes, spacer, jwt pop, and the re-worked drivetrain.

Wow. I gained 5.5rwhp from just a JWT popcharger, back to back on teh dyno. Lol.

Something must have been different.

thats pretty good for $120. I think some hp got lost in the differential work. open diffs have less parts to move therefore are more efficient transferring the hp from the motor. what i should have done is dyno the car with the open diff and the bolt-ons only. oh, well.

go ahead and get the Utec, that way you will be go to go if you decide on FI later.

I'll look into it. Can I change my rev limiter with it to say 7100 rpm's?

yea is seen a vid of a revup where he reved to 7500 , i wonder if 8,000 is possible. Mocking the HR lol. Not that it would serve any purpose other then more strain on the motor. lol

you have a funky setup.. I've gained massive power with all my (michael) boltons. You didn't even gain any torque..

ur Z is cuuuuuursed this thread is cuuuuuuuuuuuuursed . The mod are cuuuuuuuuursed jk. I dunno its true that maybey either dyno maybey ur engine so many variables.

the only variable is the differential work. Everything else remained the same.

what kind of testpipes you got? if it's no name, get a good reputable brand plus UR crank pulley. I can almost guarantee that you'd gain good power.. It almost appears that you're losing power somewhere and I'll bet it's your exhaust system..
