5w-20 oil

Is anyone using 5w-20 oil for better fuel mileage and more horsepower? Is it OK to use this oil in a VQ35DE?

too thin, unless you live in Alaska. guess it'll be ok for NA, on a moderately cold season.

^Same here. Mobil 1 5-30. I think 20 weight is too thin.

IMO any -20 is going to be too thin ... go with the owner's manual recommended stuff. for more info on oil check out top 100 questions thread
