Default Clutch chatter normal, even when new??

I've read alot of posts where people complained of clutch chatter, and apparently it must be normal on our cars. I have had clutch and tranny replaced in the past 2000 miles, and mine chatters pretty bad esp when from a dead stop and cold, but even when warm it does often if i cathc it a certain way. It did this on my original tranny too, so i'm really not too worried about it. My question is, will this get any worse with age?? It isn't slipping, and it clamps solid, and feels fine. Just really loud, almost like a light thumping sometimes when taking off!! Esp when going through fast food drive thru and i'm next to the wall so the sound comes back up at me. Thanks!

When mine was new I noticed the clutch chattering. The service tech told me it was because of the low RPM I was taking off at. I started reving higher (2000rpm) and the problem is no more. The Z has a lot of power and torque so it's no problem to take off at 800-1000 rpms but you'll get a lot of chatter.

Ahh, that makes sense. 'Cause it is usually when i'm creeping along in traffic. When i rev it a little and do a normal take off i don't seem to notice it. Thanks!!

Try replacing your differential fluid, it will lower your rolling resistance and make take-offs a bit easier.

Chatter when idling in neutral with my foot off the pedal? Yes.
Chatter when in gear with the pedal in? No.

Sounds/feels like your engine is going to shake your catalytic converter bolts off.

I wish the chatter didn't exist. I feel like people think I'm revving that high just to show off.
