My builder was finishing up on the accessories and should be putting the engine back in tomorrow so maybe Tues or Weds we should be trying to fire her up. I will post a video of it once its running.

we've been burned once before on here with someone claiming a "monster NA build" hopefully this one wont be the same.

 

Sorry I haven't posted but I didn't want to post anything without any new information. My builder got delayed again waiting for the spark plug tubes that never arrived. The motor is in the car but the fluids and transmission still need to be installed. We may be trying to fire it up tonight or Monday. I will definitely post a video when we do get it running. I hope this motor makes decent power but I am not going to claim its an NA monster until I see it running myself.

 

hoenstly, even if it doesn't make huge power, it should feel like a race car engine and that should be worth it.

Just got off the phone with my builder...transmission is going in already and fluids as well...we will try to start her up on Monday morning....I am not going to be able to sleep all weekend in anticipation!

What is the HP goal on this build? and if you don't mind what is the total amound of money being invested in the project

 

I don't really have a goal because I don't want to be disappointed. I have seen to many people try to hit the 300 rwhp mark on this site and all have come up short. On the other hand if I came up close to 300 rwhp I would be super excited. I have spent about 10,500 without the tune. I will probably end up around 12,000 when all done.

Just started the car!!! The car sounds totally different with a nice lope to it. It doesn't idle very well but that should fix with the tune. I will post a video later on today. I am about to drive it and will give more details about its driveability.

That sound amazing I been waiting to see the video. Congratulations on your N/A Z build. So what is it going to redline and how much power are you looking at. Also as far as the sound is it more of an Euro ferrari scream or American V8 growl please describe the Z new tone. Looking forward to the dyno numbers.
