Nope......i also need to find a body kit asap.....both of the ones I ordered have yet to arrive.....got everything else.....brand new Work Varianza T1S in 19x9.5 and 20X11, BC Racing Coilovers (the reviews made me do it), corbeau FX1 Pros and some 5-point harnesses (thanks to sincity350z for that one), got my C/F vertex wing from intense....but no body kit....

so transport and a body kit....i have some rims to get rid of which would help with some of the finances if anyone wants 20's with brand new Nittos...

 

I have powerhouse amuse with 06 headlights need stock parts back though. Call me we can maybe work something out

My guy gave me a shipping quote. Don't think you're gonna like it. Keep in mind, he has a business and is a DOT licensed transporter, not just some guy with a trailer. You're looking at $5100 for each trip (so $10,200 total) in an enclosed trailer. Cost is high because he has to make two unloaded trips across the country in addition to your loaded transport. He says if you find someone in Vegas who need to go to NY and back, you'd split the cost with them since he wouldn't have to make any unloaded trips.

I think this may actually be a footing ... fisting would be in the 3-4k range ... but $10k!!!

I got my Z enclosed trailered out here (traveled with a CGT and 645Ci) from Indy to Perf. Nissan (~2,000) miles for $750

 

That's $3K for one round trip, or $6K for two, like what it needed. This guy is in my car club. He is a DOT certified and licensed transporter, not some guy with a trailer. I agree the quote's high, but it's hardly a "fisting'.

 

Err um yea, hate to break it to you..but that is bending him over with out any lube. My dad owns a trucking company and $10k is obsurd. Noah, I'm gonna talk to his drivers Monday when I hand out paychecks and see if anyone wants to take a trip to Vegas. I know 4 of them that stop and gamble every time we send them to cali. heh

 

 

I paid $600 one way from Dallas to Tampa, and gas prices are higher now. I'd think it would be at least $2k round trip. I'd just rather drive it or rent a trailer from someone and tow it, personally. Painters tape FTW.

 

I paid $635 from MI to GA, although it was a open tralier, the driver did a very nice job loading and delievering the car!
