am i limpwristing nuts on the torque bar

Default am i limpwristing nuts on the torque bar

im retarded...im trying to remove the torque bar to get the engine cover off and the nuts wont budge. Am i missing anything.

are u using the right size? are you turning it to the right or left?

turning counter clockwise and yes using the right size. I always start to second guess things like this, i live in hawaii so all the salt ends up adding to corrosion and making things alot harder to move.

well those are on there pretty tight so you'll probably need a bigger ratchet or breaker bar.

Did you loosen the two nuts to either side of the center bolt?

u have to loosen the tensioner bolt... but b4 u do mark ware it is with a sharpi

You're weak. push it harder it will come off. or just get a longer wrench.

Just throw a breaker bar on there and it should bust loose. Mine were extremely tight as well.

the strut bar does not get torqued down that tight at all actually

use some "Nuts Off", let it sit for a little bit and use some muscle - you should not need anything more than a 3/8 wratchet to remove it
