I have a new 2006 Enthusuiast with about 450 miles on it. Ever since I got it I get a noise that sounds something like a low sounding whir shortly after start up. It lasts for a few seconds and is gone. It appears to come from the left side of the engine compartment (sitting in the drivers seat). I have assumed it is just a noise associated with the start up procedure, possibly related to the ABS. I am getting a little paranoid and decided to check it out with you guys who are more knowledgeable than me about Zs. Does the sound appear to be a normal part of start up or do I have a problem? Aside from that the car runs fine. I had a problem with the low tire pressure gauge but it was solved by a recalibration by the dealer.
