Default GOT EM!!!! and you do to...

no not a *****...

all 350z's have 5 year/60k drivetrain warranty (excuding clutch, etc as there wearable items)

my tranny went 2 **** w/ a 5th gear grind, and no 3rd gear. heh nissan covered it!

they tried gettin out of it...i hav an aftermarket shift **** that makes the shifter look shorter, and they said i cut the shifter/altered it...sneaky bastards... but i got em. anyways, the dealerships try 2 f@ck u as much they can. dont let them get u.

im just excited that its covered.

anybody else w/ tranny issues, your dealership should cover them.

Just take it in to your dealership and have them check the tranny; if you are covered by the new car warranty, most dealerships will do the replacement without much fuss. Nissan knows about the issues with the tranny. If you are in the neighborhood and having problems with your local dealership, PM me, as I may be able to help as I know of a couple of dealerships who will do the warranty replacement. Engine number and purchase date are some of the info that the dealership needs up front.

I had my 2003 tranny replaced just this year for a faulty synchro in 5 gear
