Default a few new goodies

I will be adding some new stuff to my car soon in attempt to make more power (safely).

Here are the things I have so far
-Koyo Radiator
-Nismo Thermostat
-Motordyne 5/16 spacer
-Deatschwerks 650cc Injectors
-Fuel Pressure Gauge
-Oil Temp Gauge
-Greddy Sandwich plate
-AAM Fuel Tap
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Spl Front and Rear end links

a few more things I need to pick up
-3 inch exhaust (currently trying to decide between SFRacing/AAM/Greddy Evo TT)
-CJM Stage 2 Fuel Return System
-Utec with MAP sensor and selector
-Samco Radiator hoses
-Pathfinder cooling mod parts

I am planning on having GT Motorsports do the install and tune.

Feedback from everyone is appreciated.

If you have any ideas on what other things I might want to add while I am at it let me know.

Are those the older D-Series gauges? If so, I am pretty sure that will not fit in that e-pod you have, since the gauges are pretty deep. You will need some low profile super slim gauges.

Maybe e-pod redesigned their mounting pod?

Edit: I see you have the UTEC.

John,

Hope you and the family are well now that you are settled back here in SD.

As for your car, still suggest the 700s. I know they cost more $$$ than you may want to spend, yet the 530's just seem to run out of air at around 14.5 PSI no matter what you do to the system and with your built motor - That upgrade would give you the most bang for your buck with your current JWT set-up. As for the larger injectors 650-cc and 255 fuel pump, NOT SURE YOU NEED THEM with the 530s...But if you insist...glad you are adding a Return Fuel System. If you want the larger fuel injectors and pump, you will need the return otherwise you will be way too rich.

Perhaps you do not care about my comments, just telling you my suggestions after installing over 60 systems in the past year built and non-built.

Important:
When we originally worked on your car starting back in September 2005, we had 600 plus injectors once we decided to build, yet not sure if you remember we had to downsize when the car was on JWTs dyno because with the JWT Fuel Pressure Regulator there was too much fuel and without a return No real way to control it. If you recall there were definite problems with idle when you came to a stop. At the time JWT had only done one other built motor (Dayton's) which they never tuned so they were NOT SURE what fuel injectors were best to recommend with the JWT boost pressure regulator.

Ultimately I am not sure what size Jim downsized to get the flow correct (440 or 530s), yet I am sure you can call Jim and he can verify yet I know for a fact it was 600 plus..

Now IMO to get more power Safely with the 530 kit, if you can afford them I would start with Cams. The last you and I were talking I noticed Stock cams on your Invoice. Cams would add some more ponies. Can't remember why we didn't do cams originally yet that will help to make another 15-20 WHP respectively on the top-end even without upgrading to 3 Inch exhaust which I doubt will help with these turbos. Not sure if you ever noticed, we credited back your credit card for any headwork. It has been so long however I would say that because you have Stock Cams, I know Mark couldn't have done any extensive Headwork so I credited back the funds and you and I have never discussed this point.

Again, thanks for being a VRT customer. Even-though we aren't close in our communication I wish you the best in the future for your car and your quest for power.

Good-luck.

M

Nice. I am running the D-Series gauges as well, and looks like they modified the e-pods to fit.....very cool.

That will help yet I would bet you are pushing the extent of the BB530s. They are great for quicker spool-up, just not able to make huge power.

Good-luck.
