Default N/A vs FI Parts

Hey guys!

Been looking around for a while, but this is my first time posting. I've got an '04 Enthusiast Roadster and I've been looking to add some pep. From what I've been reading, I shouldn't spend a lot of money on NA parts if I'm thinking of going FI. What I'm wondering is....which parts are interchangable?

Let say, I have a Pop Charger, headers, HF cat and exhaust....if I want to upgrade to a S/C, would I be able to keep any of that? What about with a turbo? Thanks!

I'm not going to go into to much detail. With a supercharger you wont get to keep the pop charger. With turbo the pop charger also goes. With TT the headers you can not use. With ST, like the TN kit there are only two that I think work. But your going to have to search for or self on that. So far as the APS ST I have no clue about. Not being a smart a** but ther alot of info here, just use the search function. Welcome to the site.

A popcharger is basicly an expensive air filter.

just stick to the basics:

TD 2.5" exhaust
Test pipes
Intake manifold (mrev2, spacer, aps tall boy, etc.)
Utec or some other form of EMS.

All of these will be very important in running a efficient FI setup.

intake systems are lost with either T/TT or SC.

headers can be kept with SC but not with T/TT

plenum spacers can be kept for either (not sure of stillen roots type)

cat & cat back systems can be kept with either but some are optomized for FI.

If I were you, I would lurk (read without posting) more.

Plus, you can look at people's signatures. That gives you an idea of what kind of mods they have in combination with F/I.

For example, many people have headers with the vortech S/C. No one has headers with the APS TT.

Anything header-back will work. Before that will depend on the application.
