I'm looking for some more RP feedback.

Im just not sold on the RP----I am mistrustful of Hype Products and more secure with the "little knowns"
Advertising dollars can sell products that are not superior. Example: WD40 --Hype, and Liquid Wrench, -- Quiet Giant
I sure have been leaning towards the Motul

+1 on that. RP makes some bogus claims. On their website they show a 1990 mustang 5.0 that they swap all the fluids in the car with RP fluids, and they claim 3.4hp on a dyno jet increase
I'm not saying the fluids wouldn't help or make the car run smoother, but 3.4 hp is not exactly spectacular results. Oh yeah, they used brand new spark plug wires and ignition box as well, which means the HP could have come from there just as easily.

Input ? I need a change and things are getting stiff-5-6 mainly, although some shifter lube and cleanup is due also. Now days, Im just daily driving and running Hyway hard every so often

I currently have some motul 300 waiting to be swapped in my tranny. I'm pretty sure the shifts will be smoother during hot. But I dont really care about cold shifting since I always warm up the car before driving.
I bought it because it's the most well known oil for hard driving which I do pretty frequently.

Needless to say, thats triple true for the Diff. which is 100% dormant til you drive.
I just dont think you are going to have the best of both worlds ( Cold/Hot ) with a gear lube. But matters not, because Hot is the driving norm.

I changed out my MT fluid for Redline MTL 70w80 mixed 50/50 with MT 90 75w90. Immediately upon starting the car up, I noticed MUCH smoother cold shifts, and slightly smoother warm shifts. After a few days, the cold shifting improvement was less noticeable, but overall was superior to stock.
I changed my out my diff fluid with Redline MT-90 also, but the difference there was a night and day improvement....plus the old diff fluid that came out looked like a dirty mixture of molasses and coffee.

I got fed up though with my distributors ordering what I wanted. They just couldnt get it through their fukcin heads so I walked away from it before I got charged with Assult with a Deadly Attitude
Just got mine done- Redline MTL 70w80 mixed 50/50 with MT 90 75w90- so far it shifts like butta! Stock my trans. has been great but seems smoother now. The Z is notchy in general as said before, but feels like this improved that. We'll see how it works out over time. What do you guys recommend as a time/mileage interval for a trans. fluid/ diff. fluid change?
