I believe you are talking about the "Gtech" and yes they are accurate. They only thing they are off on is the trap speed in the quarter mile. I went to the track the other day while leaving the Gtech on and pulled off a 0-60 of 5.32 with the quarter swinging by at 13.88 @ 103 mph . The Gtech was off by 3 mph according to my timeslip.

Im assuming 3mph high?

that would be correct, cause trap is a average of the last like 60feet, while I bet the Gtech gives the exact speed at the end.

anyway, typicly they are not that accurate tho, they are ussually a bit optimistic.

if your tlaking about that stopwatch in the computer gauge. then thats a totally different story, its just a stop watch, you have to start it and stop it, doenst work by itself, you could never get it right, and its be unsafe to do it while doing such a hard run.

If you are talking about the timer on the Z, I have tried, and I cannot get an accurate reading because it is too hard to drive the car and at the same time properly time yourself form zero to sixty. The onlt way , I can think of doing this is to have a friend that has a radar gun to clock you.
