Default Ideal pump gas compression?

Just as the question says boys. What's the most compression i'd be safe running on pump gas{91 Octane}? 11:1? 11.5:1? I'm looking to do a mild build with some head work and stage 2 cams. Looking for around 300rwhp N/A. Not looking at going to F/I. I like the nature of this car and would like just another 50rwhp on tap for daily driven use.
