Bigger final drive = better acceleration, lower top speed

smaller final drive = worse acceleration, higher top speed

that's basically it.

It affects all gears whether AT or MT

The gear is in your differential

First take off your 20" Chrome rims, that will give you back the horsepower you lost when you put them on! Then since you have so many radio controlled toys and a bike, sell them, and put some more money into the weak-azz 1k you saved up. I thought your paid? Save your money.

+1, But even with a 3.9, you can max the Car out at 155mph. (I Think 3.9 is actually 167mph top speed..)

The best mod: driver taking a driving course. Seriously, there is no better bang for the buck. You'll have lots of fun doing it too!

Driving course is also great, don't know how beneficial it is for an auto compared to a manual, but experience is experience.
